Two players have been signed today and goalkeeper Matt Ghent has been released. Simon Hollis, midfielder, who has played at Redditch, Brackley and Bromsgrove this season and last season he scored 21 goals for Redditch & Daniel Crane, goalkeeper who has signed from Corby Town, but is not available until the home game against Telford as his repacement at Corby is needed tomorrow by his existing club.
Three of our players are currently playing at Bromsgrove, Chris Duggan, Leigh Downing and Jozsef Jakab, who has scored in their last 2 games. Guy Sanders is at Leamington and Simon Lynn who was at Stratford has been recalled and was on the bench at Kettering. Amar Boukhalfa had to return to France for personal reasons and Netan Sansara was recalled by Walsall, from his loan spell, to play in a reserve game during which he picked up an injury and has not played since. Dave Morrison looks as though his knee will keep him out for the rest of the season and hopefully injuries to Dale Anderson and Gilbert Cummins will be resolved shortly. The above players who are out elsewhere are non-contract, but still registered to Solihull Moors, and are eligible to sign for teams in as many different Leagues as available, but cannot sign for other clubs in our League unless they have signed an official transfer form.

New Sports Partnership for Solihull.
Damson Parkway is set to play host to a new Sports Partnership to be formed by Solihull Moors Football Club and Birmingham & Solihull Rugby Football Club.
The proposed 'Solihull Sports Partnership' will be formed as part of a ground sharing deal between Birmingham & Solihull and Solihull Moors. The Ground will be managed independently and operate as a sporting venue to provide a platform for a wide range of sporting benefits for not only the clubs involved but also local schools and the community at large, coaching football and rugby in both the North and South of Solihull.
The deal is close to being finalised and when confirmed will include a multi million pound investment into improving the current Damson Park facility and the sporting infrastructure in Solihull.
Pertemps Bees have been looking for an alternative ground for some time, as traffic problems, inadequate parking, inadequate flood lighting and cramped facilities at Sharmans Cross Rd, mean that the ground cannot be developed to meet the criteria needed to play in the National Division 1 league, and prohibit the club from advancing to the premiership.
Bees' Director, Kieran Leahy said, "Ground sharing between clubs is increasingly more common and the partnership with Solihull Moors is a perfect fit for the aspirations of both Clubs"
Stuart Potts, President of North Midlands RFU and the newly-elected representative on the RFU Council, said: "We fully support any initiative that encourages the development of Rugby in North Midlands. We hope that their proposed community development and educational programmes will help to foster interest in Rugby in Solihull and beyond. We also hope that the Damson Park groundshare will provide a facility which will help Pertemps Bees achieve their on-field ambitions and to enjoy financial stability."
Solihull Moors' Vice Chairman and principal sponsor, Ian Childs, said "This is great news for the long term sustainability of both clubs and for sport in general in Solihull"
Peter Coates, Chairman and owner of Stoke City Football Club and FA representative for Midland clubs, who are members of the FA, said "I think the ground share concept is a good one and already a proven success at professional level where a number of clubs share with Rugby. This offers better utilisation of facilities, which helps to maintain the viability of both sports. Most important of all, it gives added value to the community"
Tim Watts, Chairman of the Pertemps Group, said "It's an exciting time for both clubs and it will enable them to reach their individual goals"
Nick Garnett, Head of Leisure at Solihull Council, said: "We believe this course of action will ensure a viable future for both clubs. We look forward to working closely with both of them to bring this plan to fruition."

The merger between Moor Green and Solihull Borough has been completed today (subject to FA approval) with the Chairman Trevor Stevens releasing this statement.
Moor Green and Solihull Borough have been 'friendly enemies' for over 50 years and both clubs can be proud to have represented the Solihull and Birmingham conurbation, providing a high standard of non league football to the area. Both clubs have a sterling past and can recall many famous feats and giant killing acts.
Recently 'The Moors' and 'The Borough' have encountered difficult times with "The Moorlands" (former home of Moor Green) victim of two arson attacks and Solihull Borough unable to generate sufficient funds from gate receipts to maintain a decent level of football.
A merger of the two clubs makes good business sense and ensures the future of the new club with both parties bringing football know how and a commercial background to the Board which is vital to the modern game.
We can look forward to an exciting season in the Blue Square North League and hopefully witness some exciting cup ties. Intersport have supplied a top quality playing kit and training equipment for out teams in addition to helping design a brand new logo.
The new season starts on 11th August and we can hardly wait to lock horns with Barrow at Damson Park.
Let the battle begin!!!
