MANAGER
BOB FAULKNER
Bob is one of the longest-serving managers in non league football having completed twenty two years in charge of Moor Green, before being appointed manager of the newly merged Solihull Moors in the summer of 2007. Bob has an uncanny knack of finding quality players and has developed a wide network of contacts across the league and non league game. He guided Moor Green to promotion in his third season, although relegated six years later, he remained at the helm to take Moors back into the Southern League Premier in 2000 and see Moor Green record their three highest ever finishes in Conference North.
ASSISTANT MANAGER
JOHN FRAIN
John spent over 10 years at Birmingham City making his debut against Newcastle in April 1986. He went on to make 327 appearances and was granted a testimonial v Aston Villa in 1996. John joined up with ex teammate, Ian Atkins at Northampton Town in early 1997 initially on loan. He went on to make 225 appearances, making his 500th career appearance against Hull in April 2000. Appointed as Assistant Manager of Moor Green in July 2003, announced his retirement as a player in May 2005 following a persistent knee injury.
COACH
ROB ELMES
Began his career with Bromsgrove Rovers before joining Halesowen Town, where he developed a fine partnership with Steve Piearce. The pair both moved to Hereford in the Conference in 1999 where Rob scored 40 goals in 90 appearances. He had a brief spell back at Halesowen before signing for Moors in December 2002. Scored 16 goals for Moors before a back injury curtailed his career.
GOALKEEPERS
DANIEL CRANE
DOB 22.05.84. Danny began his career at West Bromwich Albion before joining Conference side Burton Albion in August 2005. He had a loan spell at Moor Green before returning to the professional game at Rushden & Diamonds in January 2006. Danny spent time at Lewes, Cambridge United and Corby Town before signing for Solihull in January 2008.
ADAM RACHEL
DOB 10.12.76. Adam joined Aston Villa as a youth and made just one first team appearance before joining Blackpool. Joined Moor Green in July 2001 and became a fans favourite being named Supporters Player of the Year in both 2002 and 2003. He will act as goalkeeping cover and will assist on the coaching side.
DEFENDERS
LEE COLLINS
DOB 10.09.77. Lee signed for Aston Villa before moving to Stoke City under former boss Brian Little. Joined Moor Green on loan playing 13 games in March 2001, but signed for Halesowen Town in June 2001. Lee returned to the Moorlands following the Yeltz relegation in 2003, where he became a regular in the centre of defence making over 150 appearances. He is club captain.
PHILIP MIDWORTH
DOB 17.05.85. Phil began his career at West Bromwich Albion and was a regular in the Baggies reserves but never made the step up to the first team. He joined Burton Albion in February 2005. Joined Moor Green two months later and went on to make almost 100 appearances for the club.
CARL MOTTERAM
DOB 03.09.84. Carl progressed through the Birmingham City youth and trainee sides and turned professional in August 2003. He made only one substitute appearance for the first team before joining Tamworth in November 2005. He made the move back into the league with Torquay United in July 2006 but fell out of favour after Ian Atkins departure and joined Moor Green in February 2007. Originally a winger he was converted to full-back last season.
SAM SHILTON
DOB 21.07.78. Sam started his career at Plymouth Argyle in August 1994. A year later he was the subject of a £125k transfer to Coventry City. He then had spells at Hartlepool United, Kidderminster Harriers and Burton Albion. In July 2005 he joined Hinckley United and ended last season with Blue Square North champions Kettering Town. He signed for Solihull Moors in the summer of 2008 and is the son of England goalkeeping legend Peter Shilton.
THEO STREETE
DOB 23.11.87. Theo was at Derby County in their youth academy and had loan spells at Doncaster Rovers and Rotherham United. Theo holds the distinction of scoring the last ever goal at Doncaster's old Belle Vue ground. Upon his release by Derby Theo signed for Solihull Moors last summer.
SIMON TRAVIS
DOB 22.03.77. Simon started his career in the Football League at Torquay United and then spent two seasons at Stockport County. He spent a total of 7 seasons in the Conference with Telford, Forest Green and Stevenage combining football with his university studies. He joined Hereford in February 2004 and appeared for the England semi-professional team. He played a key role in helping Hereford win promotion to the Football League via the playoffs. He joined Nuneaton Borough in July 2007 and signed for Solihull this summer

MICHAEL TUOHY
DOB 06.06.87. Michael was a summer capture from Blue Square North rivals Tamworth. He spent two seasons at The Lamb making his debut during Tamworth's final season in the Conference.
MIDFIELDERS
ANDY DUCROS
DOB 16.09.77. Andy began his career at Coventry City as a trainee in 1993. He failed to break into the first team at Coventry and joined Nuneaton Borough in 1999. He was subject of a £100k transfer to Kidderminster Harriers in July 2000 making over 50 league appearances before joining Burton Albion in February 2003, where he made a further 150 appearances before joining Solihull in October 2007.
JUNIOR ENGLISH
DOB 08.10.85. Junior was a product of the reformed Youth set up at Moor Green, where he signed Conference forms in early October 2004. He made over 120 appearances for Moor Green coming off the bench to great effect on several occasions. Injured at the beginning of last season his reappearance coincided with the change in fortune of Solihull. Junior is an important squad member who can operate on the right side of defence or midfield.
PETER FAULDS
DOB 26.08.82. Peter was a player in the Kidderminster Harriers youth team and made several appearances for their reserve side. He joined Moor Green in the summer of 2002. Peter is a combative right-sided midfield player with an eye for goal, highlighted by finishing top scorer in 2004/05.
TIM GOULD
DOB 11.06.86. Tim is a central midfield player who loves to get forward and get on the scoresheet. Signed in the summer of 2007 from Midland Alliance side Boldmere St Michaels, he was named Solihull Moors Player of the Season in his debut season.
DARREN MIDDLETON
DOB 29.12.78. The former Aston Villa trainee, who also had a spell at Wolverhampton Wanderers, made his name as a striker with Stafford Rangers. Moves to Forest Green Rovers and then Worcester City followed. Darren made over 120 appearances for Moor Green after signing from Worcester City in 2004.
JOE O'TOOLE
DOB 02.06.89. Joe is a promising young midfielder signed during the summer after impressing during pre-season. He started his career at Stoke City.
ANDY RITCHIE
DOB 03.11.89. Andy started his career as a trainee at Coventry City. He signed for Solihull Moors on work experience towards the end of last season and upon his release from Coventry this summer he returned to Damson Park on a permanent basis.
JAKE SEDGEMORE
DOB 10.10.78. Jake began his career at West Bromwich Albion, before joining Hednesford Town in October 1998. He had spells at Hereford and Northwich Victoria before joining Shrewsbury Town in July 2003 where he won promotion from the Conference back into the Football League. Released in the summer of 2005 he joined Bury, where a loan spell at Burton Albion included appearances in the club's memorable FA Cup ties with Manchester United in January 2006. The following month he signed for Kidderminster Harriers. At the start of 2006-07 he signed for Altrincham but his decision to go part-time saw him sign for Solihull in the summer of 2008.
FORWARDS
DALE ANDERSON
Dale started his career as an apprentice at Nottingham Forest. After a spell at Hednesford Town he became one of Nigel Clough's first signings for The Brewers in March 1999. Dale represented his country at Non League level, coming off the bench to score against Holland in April 2002. The pacey striker fell out of favour at the Brewers and signed for Moor Green in March 2006 where he spent last season.
JAKE EDWARDS
DOB 11.05.76. Jake began his career with Wrexham before loan spells at Blackpool and Telford United. He signed for Telford permanently before moving onto Yeovil Town and then Exeter City. He then had loan spells at Tamworth and Chester City where he helped the club avoid relegation from the Football League. He signed for Crawley Town at the start of the 2006-07 season, before joining Tamworth in January 2007 and then Burton Albion in May 2007. He joined Solihull in August 2008.
JASON MOORE
DOB 20.01.83. Jason is a former Scottish youth international who was released by Coventry City after they suffered relegation from the Premiership in 2002. He signed for Halesowen Town after a successful trial and soon attracted the attention of several League clubs. Eventually signed for Moor Green in January 2006 after a brief spell at Bedworth United.
